LARGEST ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE PICKS SQUARERIGGER SOFTWARE’S SQ.7
AS ITS FLEET MANAGEMENT TOOL

Dade City, FL.  August 28, 2006 – After searching for more than a year Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative chose SQUARERIGGER SOFTWARE’s SQ.7 to manage its growing fleet.  “A team of leaders from the Cooperative’s IT, Transportation and Operations Departments compared similar programs and decided to purchase SQ.7” said Dicky Brown, Senior Systems Analyst with the Cooperative.

“Our existing system was antiquated and did not provide the necessary tools for our rapidly growing fleet,” added Brown. “We took our time and believe we found the best product. We were looking for fleet maintenance software with open architecture that would allow easy access to data from a wide range of applications.  The data provided by this program must be accessed by our  management team, Purchasing Department and mechanics as well.”

“Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative is the single largest electric cooperative in the world, with more than 1000 vehicles in its fleet.   We provide electric service to the rapidly growing areas north of the City of Tampa. So we needed a program that would grow with us.  We believe that SQUARERIGGER’s SQ.7 modular system provides a viable option that will allow this system to grow with us.  We plan on going ‘LIVE’ on September 1, 2006,” concluded Brown.

Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative provides electric service to more than 201,000 member/owners in parts of Pasco, Hernando, Citrus, Sumter and Polk counties in west-central Florida.
